Army Recruit Course (ARC) Timetable of Events

8:00 AMVisitor’s car park opensVisitors for the morning parade are advised to arrive no earlier than 8:00AM
8:20 – 9:00 AMTransport to the parade groundBuses leave from the car park, a tour guide is provided for each bus, and visitors are given a tour of the barracks.
9:00 AMGuests arrive at parade groundVisitors will be dropped off at the parade ground. Escorts and guides will be located around the parade ground to assist visitors.
9:15 AMGuests seated for paradeSeating is not reserved; guests are not to sit in the centre seating area, as this area is set aside for staff and official guests.
9:30 AMParade commencesThe parade will generally take 45 to 60 minutes.
10:20 AMParade endsFamilies are reunited with families next to the parade ground.
10:30 AM - 11.30AMGuests transported to visitor’s car park Buses will arrive to begin transporting visitors to the visitor’s car park. Soldiers return to their lines to return equipment and change into neat civilian attire.
12:00 AMRecruits transported to Wagga Wagga Train StationSoldiers will be transported to the Wagga Wagga Train Station by bus to commence local leave.
9:00 PMRecruits transported back to barracksAll soldiers are to be at the Wagga Wagga Train Station at 9:00 pm to be transported back to Kapooka. Lateness will not be tolerated and administrative or disciplinary action may be taken against the soldier.
